Stop drinking excessively and smoking. Drinking alcohol can damage your liver and slow down your body and brain. Smoking causes cancer and can obstruct your airways and lungs accessing enough oxygen.
Start exercising. Do some form of exercise everyday. Walking is a fabulous exercise to keep you lean and limber. Swimming, running, participatory sports and even house cleaning can help you get fit.
Eat healthy. Add more vegetables and fruits into your diet. Following the food group diet will maintain healthy bones and skin. If you are trying to lose weight, a diet of fruits and vegetables will lower caloric intake.
If you want to lose weight and build muscle, ask a personal trainer to help you. A trainer can keep you motivated and get you to the fitness level you desire.
Limit yourself to only certain amounts of sugar and flour products each week. Sugar and flour also effects our moods and can slow us down. They also turn to fat. Stay active and eat light foods and snacks for better fitness and health levels.
