This story i picked up from my cathecism textbook. It is a touching story. Just read finish, and u could feel the kindness in your heart.

It's a cold winter in Milwaukee. The bus stops and a pregnant woman of minority race gets on. Her coat is thin and ragged. She smells bad, and she is barefooted. Most people on the bus just look away and pretend she's not there. But some high school kids in the back of the bus start making loud, insulting comments. They laugh and point at the woman's bare feet.

About three stops later, a fourteen-year-old boy, who is sitting alone, gets up to leave. He stops by the woman's seat and slips off his tennis shoes and socks. He hands them to the woman and says quietly, " Here, take these. I have another pair at home. " Barefooted, he gets off the bus and heads down the street to his house.

isn't it generous? How many of us would do the same thing as this boy...? We shall love our neighbour as much as we love ourselves! Heaven is watching (:
